Reduce the Formation of Scars with Embrace

What is Embrace?

Embrace is the only clinically proven product in multiple randomized clinical trials to reduce the formation of scars.

How Does Embrace Work?

It relieves tension created during the healing process. Tension is the second biggest factor in scar formation.

What is Involved With Embrace Treatment?

Embrace is a low-maintenance, water-resistant silicone dressing that is comfortable to wear. Each dressing application lasts 10+ days, offering constant medical-grade silicone compression.

How Long Do I Wear Embrace?

Each Embrace treatment course consists of 5 applications applied at our Denver plastic surgery practice over a period of 8 weeks. Patients wear each dressing for approximately 10 days, and then the next dressing is applied by our nurse, Ari, during a post-operative appointment.

In the video below, Dr. Slenkovich’s nurse, Ari, applies the Embrace silicone dressing for one of our breast augmentation with breast lift patients, as seen on our Snapchat story.

What Procedure Scars Can Embrace Treat?

In our south-Denver based office, Dr. Slenkovich uses Embrace for many different procedures to reduce the appearance of scars after surgery, including

PRACTICE UPDATE RE: COVID -19 SITUATION View Update Virtual Consultation

Your safety is our number one priority. Please know that we join our community in taking advised precautions to limit the spread of the Coronavirus. For the time being we are planning on continuing practice as usual, with some additional precautions.

We have always routinely wiped down our office and patient exam chairs with medical-grade sanitizing wipes. We will expand this to include door knobs, toilet and faucet handles and will have hand-sanitizer available to you at check-in.

No staff will be allowed to come to work with a cough or fever, or if they have had contact with anyone with confirmed Coronavirus. We kindly ask for the same considerations from you. If you have any flu-like symptoms or have recently traveled, please call the office to reschedule your appointment.

We appreciate your flexibility as we will be limiting routine follow-up appointments over the next few weeks and ask patients to not bring friends and family members to their appointments to avoid the amount of patients we have in the office at one time.

We will also be offering virtual consultations throughout this period. We have always performed them for our out of town patients, which we have plenty, but we are now extending this service for local patients as well, in accordance with the recommended social distancing.

If you have any questions, comments or concerns please call and let us know.

Sincerely, Dr. Slenkovich & Staff of Colorado Plastic Surgery Center
