Capsular contracture is an uncommon complication of breast augmentation in which the scar capsule around the breast implant begins to contract around the implant usually just on one side. As a result, the breasts may become hard, misshapen, or slightly painful. Every patient who undergoes breast augmentation develops a scar around her implants and under … Continue reading What Is Capsular Contracture?→
In Colorado, there is no legal requirement that an outpatient surgery, such as a breast augmentation, be performed in a licensed surgical facility. Since most plastic surgeries are performed as outpatient surgeries, many plastic surgeons conduct surgery in their offices. This situation has the highest likelihood of serious adverse outcomes because there is no guarantee … Continue reading Surgery in an Office vs. a Hospital vs. a Surgery Center→
It is said that women deal with change better than men. Maybe this is because mentally, emotionally, and spiritually, women are constantly facing the “ebb and flow” of life. The fact that these changes … Continue reading Post-surgery bra fitting at Pampered Passions Fine Lingerie→

No child chooses to come from an abusive home. Think of the challenges facing such a child. They are fragile and vulnerable and in dire need of help and support. Your safety is our number one priority. Please know that we join our community in taking advised precautions to limit the spread of the Coronavirus. For the time being we are planning on continuing practice as usual, with some additional precautions.
We have always routinely wiped down our office and patient exam chairs with medical-grade sanitizing wipes. We will expand this to include door knobs, toilet and faucet handles and will have hand-sanitizer available to you at check-in.
No staff will be allowed to come to work with a cough or fever, or if they have had contact with anyone with confirmed Coronavirus. We kindly ask for the same considerations from you. If you have any flu-like symptoms or have recently traveled, please call the office to reschedule your appointment.
We appreciate your flexibility as we will be limiting routine follow-up appointments over the next few weeks and ask patients to not bring friends and family members to their appointments to avoid the amount of patients we have in the office at one time.
We will also be offering virtual consultations throughout this period. We have always performed them for our out of town patients, which we have plenty, but we are now extending this service for local patients as well, in accordance with the recommended social distancing.
If you have any questions, comments or concerns please call and let us know.
Sincerely, Dr. Slenkovich & Staff of Colorado Plastic Surgery Center
