Stephanie Cooper

Chief Operating Officer

Stephanie has over 15 years of experience in healthcare, 10 of those serving a large plastic and reconstructive surgery practice in Houston, TX. She earned her dual Masters in Business Administration and Masters in Healthcare Administration from Texas Woman’s University, graduating with a 4.0 GPA.

Stephanie started her career in plastic surgery as a Patient Care Coordinator, later becoming the lead over the Patient Care Coordinator and Front Office Coordinator teams until ultimately becoming a Director of Operations. Her depth of knowledge surrounding the daily operations and service lines of a plastic surgery practice, combined with her ability to be a big-picture thinker, allows her to excel at process improvement and creating workflows to maximize operational efficiency and optimize patient care and outcomes.

She is passionate about working in an organization that allows her to be strategic and creative, with a team that is innovative and forward-thinking with a dynamic culture. She loves to challenge the status quo and believes that as a healthcare leader, her commitment to reaching her ultimate potential transcends the workplace through her desire to make thoughtful human connections.

She also strives to always be a student of leadership, both personally and professionally. Her hobbies include reading, traveling, and watching true crime shows.

Stephanie’s “Bucket List” items are trips to the UK (England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland), Norway & Sweden, and Thailand.

Neal “Jon” Alexander
MBA, BSN, CMSRN, AMB-BC

Director, Surgery Center of Colorado

Meet Jon, a retired Air Force veteran who served for over 22 years. He holds degrees from the Community College of the Air Force, the University of Wisconsin, the University of Kentucky (BSN), and Washington State University (MBA). Jon brings a wealth of knowledge and experience, having worked in various fields including Med-Surg, Orthopedics, Pediatrics, and Family Medicine. His roles have included Infection Preventionist, Quality Control Officer, Director of Inspections, Chief Nurse Informatics Officer, and Master Safety Certifier.

Jon has managed seven different clinics throughout his career and holds certifications from the American Nurse Credentialing Center in Medical-Surgical Nursing and Ambulatory Care Nursing. He is currently pursuing his Nurse Executive Certification, continually expanding his skills and knowledge.

In his personal time, Jon enjoys playing guitar, fly fishing, and golfing. He is passionate about building teams, improving processes, and seeing patients happy with their outcomes.

Emma Slenkovich

Patient Care Coordinator

Emma attended the University of Arizona where she double majored in Biochemistry and Spanish Linguistics. Applying her academic degree, she worked on a clinical study that created and tested treatments for Primary Progressive Aphasia (language disorder). Additionally, she studied abroad, served as an Au Pair living in Spain for 8 months, and volunteered as an unofficial interpreter at a refugee shelter in Tucson, AZ that provided primary relief to asylum seekers entering the US from Latin America. Currently, Emma is pursuing her healthcare interpreter certification through the National Commission for Interpreting in Healthcare (NCIHC).

Her favorite part of her job is building relationships with patients and seeing their journey from start to finish. She is also very excited to provide language services to our Spanish-Speaking patients and families. Fun fact: over two summers (2016-2018) Emma helped build Dr. Slenkovich’s social media presence on Snapchat!

In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, yoga, hiking, Red Rocks concerts, and traveling. Emma’s "Bucket List” items include becoming a yoga or F45 instructor, a yoga retreat in Costa Rica, summiting every Fourteener in Colorado, and a Safari ride in Africa!

Melody Merritt

Patient Care Coordinator

For the past 18 years, Melody has worked in the cosmetics industry. Her unique background enables her to confidently guide each patient efficiently through their patient experience. Some of her former roles include Surgical Assistant in Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Oculoplastic and Plastic Surgery, Medical Assistant, Pharmaceutical Sales, and Practice Management. In addition to receiving her Associate of Applied Science and Bachelor of Science in Management, Melody has a Cosmetology License with the State of Colorado, and she enjoys being a makeup (and permanent makeup) artist.

Her favorite part of her job is patient interaction. She is very passionate about educating and empowering others to do what makes them look and feel their best.

In her spare time, she travels to Nebraska to attend her son’s collegiate baseball games or travels to Texas to spend time with her daughter. She also enjoys walking with her French Bulldog, Fergie. Fun fact – she is a big sports nut (ask her anything). She loves watching most sports and attending live games. Melody’s “Bucket List” items include traveling to Greece, attending the Kentucky Derby, and catching a nationally televised boxing match in Vegas!

Rebecca Schmitt, RN

Clinic & OR Nurse

The very important and unique role of the clinic and OR nurse is held by Rebecca. She helps to educate patients at their pre-operative appointments, is there the morning of surgery and in the OR, and also follows up with patients after surgery. She enjoys seeing patients through all stages of their journey, and appreciates the process each patient goes through. Seeing them reach their goals, the smile on their faces, and the confidence that they gain is Rebecca’s favorite part of her job. She leads an active lifestyle through hiking, exercising, spending time with her daughters, and practicing photography.

Pam Peppard, LMT

Peri-Operative Massage Therapist

Pam will work with you after your cosmetic surgery procedure and uses light touch therapy to speed up the recovery process and help with swelling and bruising. Pam is expertly trained to treat plastic surgery patients, and she educates each patient on proper ways to exercise, stretch, and be aware of postural problems associated with their surgical procedures. When she’s not helping patients, Pam enjoys spending time with her dogs and working on the remodel of her house.

Sue Canada

Surgical Technologist, ASC Coordinator

With over 25 years as a surgical technologist and 15 years of plastic surgery experience, Sue serves as Dr. Slenkovich’s right hand during surgery. She performs both direct and indirect perioperative tasks and promotes positive patient care and a culture of safety for each plastic surgery. She moved to Colorado in 1983 from Laramie, Wyoming and became a Certified Expanded Duties Dental Assistant, and earned her certification in basic radiology. Prior to coming to Colorado Plastic Surgery Center she worked for an Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon until 2003. When Sue isn’t working she loves to spend time with her children and their Rhodesian Ridgeback named Deuce. Sue’s husband Tim owns a “Legends” race car – and needless to say, her son A.J. enjoys driving it. Sue helps them pack up and prepare for races every weekend. Outside of the race track, Sue enjoys beading and making jewelry. She also loves cooking and teaching others to cook. Her guilty pleasure: Candy Crush.

Austin Baine

Surgical Assistant

Austin has been practicing in the field of Cosmetic Surgery exclusively since 2012. During previous employment, he worked alongside renowned, Indiana-based Plastic Surgeons. The knowledge and experience acquired during his former employment allow him the ability to assist under the supervision of Dr. Slenkovich.

Outside of the operating room, Austin maintains instrumentation and handles logistical needs for the seamless flow of surgical procedures here at CPSC. The ability to see and be a part of a dramatic, instantaneous result is his favorite aspect of all cosmetic procedures.

Outside of work, Austin is an avid adventurer who loves spending time with his girlfriend and dog. Together, they enjoy backpacking, camping, mountain biking, cycling, off-roading, and snowboarding- just to name a few. One day he hopes to contribute to Colorado Parks & Wildlife in some fashion.

Adina Rinaldi

Patient Liaison

Adina was born in Germany and moved to Colorado when she was four years old. She attended the University of Colorado Denver and holds numerous Personal Training and Nutrition Certificates. She has a passion for patient care and fitness and has worked in healthcare for almost a decade. Her favorite part of patient care is witnessing the unbridled and pure joy that patients experience when their aesthetic dreams become their reality. In her spare time, she enjoys practicing Katonah Yoga, navigating life around 3 spoiled kitties and a 9-year-old son, and date nights with her fiancé. Adina's bucket list items include competing in a wellness show, a long vacation to the Caribbean, and learning how to drive peacefully in the snow!

Kayla Coccaro

Medical Clinic Leader

Kayla’s education includes being a graduate of Regis University RN, BSN – Honors and Daniels Fund Scholar. She also completed her master’s program at American Sentinel University – MBA in Healthcare. Her work experience includes 6 years at HCA Healthcare working as a Burn and Plastics ICU Clinical Nurse Coordinator and a Progressive Care Unit manager. In her role at CPSC, She loves interacting with patients and supporting them on their journey to achieve the best version of themselves. Her hobbies include being in the mountains (hiking/camping/learning to ski), traveling, and spending time with her family and fur baby, Ella – a golden retriever. Kayla’s bucket list items include running a marathon in Egypt, backpacking in Europe, and skydiving.

Jordan Holsinger

Nurse Injector

Jordan has over 11 years of experience, 6 of which were dedicated to specializing in the field of plastics. She joined CPSC in November 2022 and found cosmetic surgery to be the most rewarding specialty she has ever worked in. Although she has experience in all surgical specialties, Jordan loves plastic surgery and aesthetics because it allows her to have a part in the immediate results that make such a positive impact on people's lives. Jordan believes that patients who choose to visit cosmetic surgery centers are vulnerable, and she feels honored to help them through their journey to becoming more confident in themselves. She is a firm believer that when you feel good about yourself, you show up better in all aspects of life, whether personal or professional. Jordan strives for natural results in aesthetics, championing the belief that we are our greatest investment.

Lauren has been a surgical nurse in the operating room for the past 15 years, and she has established herself as a skilled injector with various certifications. She has completed The Academy of Facial Aesthetics, Facial Aesthetics Master Program, and Aesthetic Medical Laser Academy certifications, specializing in non-surgical aesthetic procedures. Lauren is passionate about the art and science of beauty and has a unique approach to aesthetics that focuses not just on enhancing physical appearance but also on addressing self-confidence and well-being. When working with clients, Lauren prioritizes building relationships and creating a supportive environment to understand each client's unique concerns and goals. She develops a personalized treatment plan to achieve natural results that make you look and feel your best. Lauren stays up-to-date with industry advancements in techniques and technologies by attending trainings, conferences, and continuing education, ensuring that her clients receive the latest and most effective treatments available.

Bailey Propernick

Bailey grew up in the heart of Colorado, in the Gunnison Valley, and pursued her education at Western Colorado University. She majored in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing and minored in Pre-Law. With a deep passion for the aesthetics and cosmetic industry, Bailey has witnessed countless life-changing transformations. She finds this industry incredibly rewarding and fulfilling, enjoying the opportunity to be part of patients’ journeys and exploring the diverse approaches that plastic surgery has to offer.

Outside of work, Bailey loves reading by the pool, hiking to waterfalls in the mountains, and spending time with her English Bulldog, Smooches.

Megan Huffaker

Patient Liaison

Megan was born and raised in Littleton, Colorado. She attended the College of International Esthetics in 2011, where she received her Esthetics License and discovered a passion for helping others feel more confident and beautiful. Over the years, Megan has worked as a professional makeup artist and personal beauty advisor.

Her favorite part of the job is seeing the transformation from start to finish and being part of such a personal and beautiful journey.

In her spare time, Megan enjoys yoga, painting, cooking, baking, paddleboarding, hiking, and spending quality time with friends and family. Her bucket list includes taking road trips to all 50 states and starting her own skincare line.

Kierstyn Day

Social Media/Content Creator

Meet Kierstyn Day, our talented Social Media Coordinator! If you've seen captivating footage from the OR and the injector seat, that's her creative handiwork. Kierstyn graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor's Degree in Creative Media and Film, and an emphasis in Independent Filmmaking. She further honed her expertise by earning a certification in Social Media Marketing from eCornell, Cornell University’s esteemed online platform.

Kierstyn leverages her skills in content capturing, editing, data analysis, and post-scheduling to elevate CPSC's social media engagement and presence. Beyond her professional life, she is an avid snowboarder who enjoys staying active, exploring the outdoors, and spending quality time with her loved ones.

Brionna Lopez

Brionna is a seasoned healthcare professional with nearly a decade of experience in the medical field. Graduating with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Surgical Technology, Brionna entered the field with a strong foundation in patient care and technical expertise. After graduating, Brionna gained invaluable experience at a level two hospital, where she scrubbed across a wide range of service lines. She assisted in procedures spanning spine surgery, orthopedics, general surgery, GYN procedures, podiatry, and plastic surgery, showcasing her versatility and adaptability in the operating room.

With nearly two years of experience as a surgical technologist, Brionna has become a trusted member of the operating room team, known for her precision and efficiency. In her role, Brionna is responsible for preparing operating rooms, sterilizing equipment, and assisting surgeons during procedures. She ensures that all necessary instruments and supplies are readily available, facilitating seamless surgical operations. Before transitioning to surgical technology, Brionna spent six years as a certified medical assistant, gaining invaluable experience across diverse medical specialties.

Driven by her passion for meticulous work and immediate results, Brionna chose to specialize in plastic surgery. In this dynamic field, she finds fulfillment in enhancing patients' appearance and confidence through surgical interventions.

Outside of her professional duties, Brionna enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, attending concerts, and exploring new destinations through travel. These interests provide her with relaxation and inspiration, enriching her life beyond the operating room.
