Colorado Plastic Surgery Center surgeons view their role as a partnership, listening closely, building trust, and walking alongside you from the first conversation to the final follow-up. Today, we’re thrilled to introduce a new partner in that journey: Dr. Laura Anne Roider, a board-eligible plastic surgeon who joins us as an Associate Surgeon under the mentorship of Dr. Nick Slenkovich.

Dr. Roider brings a patient-first approach grounded in clear communication. She believes the best surgical outcomes start with understanding your “why” before creating a plan that prioritizes safety and long-lasting, natural results. If you’re considering aesthetic breast or body procedures in Denver or across Colorado, you’ll find in Dr. Roider a steady, supportive partner who cares deeply about both your experience and your outcome.

Training You Can Trust

Dr. Roider completed her integrated residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Saint Louis University, serving as Chief Resident for the 2024–2025 academic year. She earned her medical degree from the University of Missouri School of Medicine, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha (AΩA) national medical honor society.

Her academic journey reflects sustained excellence, but what patients notice first is her presence: calm, kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in helping you feel like your best self.

Now in Denver, Dr. Roider is board-eligible and will submit for and take her ABPS board examination, which she anticipates taking in late 2026.

Areas of Focus

While Dr. Roider’s training spans the full spectrum of aesthetic and reconstructive care, she has a particular passion for breast and body procedures. Her experience includes:

  • Breast augmentation & breast lift (with a focus on proportion, softness, and balance)
  • Tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) for core restoration and contour refinement
  • Liposuction for targeted sculpting and smoother transitions
  • Mommy makeover plans tailored to your timeline

Scholarly Mindset

Patients benefit when surgeons stay curious. Dr. Roider has authored and co-authored peer-reviewed publications in areas ranging from periocular rejuvenation (including AI-based assessments of apparent age change) to patient-reported outcomes and best practices in implant-related decision-making. She has presented at national and international meetings, serves as a peer reviewer for the Aesthetic Surgery Journal, and volunteers on the Women in Aesthetic Surgery Committee.

As part of our partnership-based philosophy, she brings this scholarly lens into the consultation room: educating you on options, setting realistic expectations, and aligning the plan with your priorities and lifestyle.

Cultivating Beauty, Balance, and a Life Well-Lived

Originally from St. Louis, Dr. Roider and her husband, Michael, are excited to put down roots in Denver. They love to travel, discover great food and wine, and embrace an active lifestyle—perfectly at home in Colorado’s spirit of resilience and adventure. Outside the operating room, you might find Dr. Roider at a barre class, tending her garden, or planning her next home renovation project. She has a soft spot for Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, dreams of mastering snow skiing, and someday hopes to earn a sommelier certification.

What It’s Like to Be in Dr. Roider’s Care

Every patient experience with Dr. Roider is designed to feel personal, thoughtful, and empowering. From the first consultation to the final follow-up, you can expect:

  • A welcoming, judgment-free environment: You’ll find that Dr. Roider takes time to make you feel comfortable, valued, and understood. She creates space for honest conversation, ensuring you never feel rushed or overlooked.
  • Thoughtful guidance and realistic insight: Rather than simply outlining procedures, Dr. Roider explains the why behind each recommendation.
  • Precision backed by artistry: Each step is taken with intention, blending technical expertise with an appreciation for natural proportion and balance.
  • A continuum of care beyond surgery: Your relationship doesn’t end in the operating room. Dr. Roider and our Colorado Plastic Surgery Center team are with you throughout your recovery, providing resources, encouragement, and compassionate follow-up care that support your long-term results and confidence.
